The Ironside Pledge

We work for you.
Not the insurer.

Five promises we print on the estimate and keep on the floor. If we break one, the repair is on us — and the warranty still stands.

  1. 01

    OEM procedures only

We follow the manufacturer’s repair procedures — not a cheaper shortcut. If the book says replace, we replace. If it says a structural adhesive, we use that adhesive.

  2. 02

    No hidden blend charges

The estimate you approve is the estimate we stand on. Blend, corrosion protection and ADAS recalibration are written in, not sprung on you at pickup.

  3. 03

    Photos at every stage

Teardown, blueprint, weld, prime, color, reassembly. You get a dated photo set so you can see the work — and so the file is bulletproof if an insurer asks later.

  4. 04

    We call before we deviate

Hidden damage happens. When it does, a real estimator calls you before a wrench turns on the extra work. No “we already did it” voicemails.

  5. 05

    Lifetime warranty, in writing

Every repair leaves with a printed lifetime workmanship warranty. Not a slogan on the wall. A document with our name on it.

How a job actually runs

Six gates. Zero surprises.

Most shops skip the photos and the phone call. This is the sequence every Ironside job follows — collision, custom or fleet.

  1. 01

    Same day

    Estimate

Drive in or send photos. A licensed estimator writes a line-by-line blueprint — OEM parts, blend, ADAS, rental — and walks you through it before anyone picks up a wrench.

  2. 02

    Day 1–2

    Teardown & blueprint

We disassemble to the last hidden clip, photograph every cavity, and update the estimate if we find damage the walk-around missed. You approve before we continue.

  3. 03

    Days 2–6

    Repair

Steel, aluminum or carbon — each in its own bay with its own tools. Structural work is measured on the Chief rack to factory specs, not “close enough.”

  4. 04

    Days 4–8

    Paint

Two downdraft booths, spectrophotometer matching, and a spray-out card you can hold next to the panel. No “it will blend in the sun.”

  5. 05

    Day of

    QC & calibration

Fit, finish, corrosion protection, then ADAS, cameras and radar on the Hunter rack. We do not hand back a car that is not road-legal.

  6. 06

    Pickup day

    Hand-back

You get the keys, the photo set, the lifetime warranty and a walk-around with the estimator who wrote the job. Questions happen here, not in a one-star review.

Geico wanted their DRP shop. I chose Ironside. Danny sent teardown photos the same afternoon and called me before they ordered the quarter. The Antimatter Blue match is invisible — even my dealer asked who painted it.

They stripped my ’68 to bare metal and never once said “that’s good enough for a weekend car.” Hugger Orange, correct stripes, documented welds. I drive it to Cars & Coffee and people ask for the shop card.

Aluminum quarter on a Model 3 plus camera calibration. Half the shops I called said they “don’t touch Teslas.” Ironside had it back in nine days with the ADAS report in the folder. Lifetime warranty in the glovebox.
